GREENNILL's only option is from an Ultimate Del Depth. I wouldn't bother unless I could do Phantasmal World #3.
Best option is from an ORAN's (temple) Mil Lily.

SPIRIT GARMENT

Best option is from a REDRIA/YELLOWBOZE Very Hard Gibbles.

worst part is that my purplenum is a force and my redria is a low level:-?

you can get an Aura Field from Ultimate Deldepth, drop rate of 1/2560. alternatively you can get a migic rock 'Moola' from v.hard Pan Arms in Caves but not a Spirit Garment (unles you make a new character that can get it)

Try hunting the SJS. I guarantee it will not be pleasurable.

if you are an oran than than theres a 1/2 drop rate from mil lillys in the temples, thats how I found mine

I found Arua Field with my lvl114 FOnewearl and comparing stats from my currently equiped ultimate frame I loses about 30 EVA and gain nothing else
keep in mind I have 4 angle minds equiped not elf legs or anything

so is there something magicly amazing Im missing or is this armor overhype?

You may have gotten a bad Aura Field. The defense and evade on all armors is variable. I've piped 4 Aura Fields with my oran so far, and all of them are on the lower end of the spectrum. I'm trying to find one with at least 240 to slot out, but the best i've gotten has 231 I think. Not very impressive considering the 251 defense it's capable of spawning with. I found one today that has 2 slots, but it's tied for weakest defense among the ones I have. :(
Good armor is just hard to find these days.

Check the value to the possible values. If it's relatively high, then you'll want to use those addslots, but if you have one that could be lower than other armors (Like DF Field), then you may want to wait and see if you find another AF or other armor with Def higher than that one.

well I just learned the dupe trick so addslots arent a problem anymore Ill use them anyway

See how much Def you get from your Aura Field. The possible Def on an Aura Field ranges between 235-285. If you have an Aura Filed that has 250 or lower def, you have a weak AF and may want to wait and see if you can find a stronger armor that won't drain your TP (i.e. DF field). A good Aura Field has at least 275 def in my opinion.
