I was hoping one would be made. A Phantasy Star Zero artbook will be released on July 6th in Japan.

They ship new books, music CDs and some other stuff to the US, you just have to make a new Amazon JP account since existing ones don't work. The register page is still Japanese only but it's pretty much the same as all the other ones, just punch in an email, hit the first radio button, etc.

Their international shipping price is pretty brutal though, so I'd only recommend using the site if you're buying a few things at once that you can't get elsewhere. So if you don't wanna bother with that, you could wait and see if Play-Asia stocks it sometime, since they've stocked the recent Phantasy Star guide books and art books. I'll post here if I see a listing for it at Play-Asia.

So sorry to double post... but the book has been in stock at Play-Asia for awhile. Just thought I'd let interested people know. A bit pricy, but after Amazon JP's shipping price, it pretty much comes out to the same amount.

I was searching for PSØ gashapon and came across a link for this book, was about to search for a relevant topic, but here it was. Thanks to the preview pics, I decided to grab a copy running ~$42. I can't recall being disappointed by enterbrain, so here's hoping it's worth it.

The Phantasy Star Zero artbook is decent. It contains illustrations and sketches for all of the job types, NPCs, areas, monsters, mags, and most weapons. If you are interested in Zero and can afford the book, it certainly worth picking up.

The back has promo illustrations like stuff for magazines, telephone cards, etc. Hmm... where have I seen this one before?

But yeah, as Ryna said, pretty decent book. If you really like the game and already collect art books and stuff, then I think it's worth it. I just wish the weapon section was better. Some of my favorites aren't in there. Mag section is pretty nice though, shows them all in all the different colors. Will make choosing what to use easier.

Sorry but I won't be taking any more request shots. If you wanna see more, you can buy it. =P

I like the alternate designs, I wonder if they will continue this series, outside of a handheld... and they will include those designs.
