No, Volcompat. Nobody ordered fish teeth.

I might have ordered some fish teeth.
I hear it's a delicacy over there in Russia.
I've eaten dog, horse, and many many other weird other things not normal to eat (I love to try everything at least once)
So why not fish teeth, and gums?!

That this thread has gone on so long without the following reply is a shock, shame, and, thankfully, eminently treatable situation:

In Soviet Russia, canned possibly-fish eat YOU !!

Um... I've eaten crickets. That's about as far out as I've gotten.

I've got a policy though, of not eating what I can't identify.

lol Crickets...I remember when I was in high school, they had a candy graham thing going on with lolly pops that had crickets in em. I tried one, like it, ate a few more, then decided it was enough. They also had other bugs, none I tried though.

I remember one of my friends brought a candied scorpion to school. No joke.

I didn't eat the scorpion, mainly due to the fact that it would be crunchy as hell and I didn't have anything to drink.

Don't really have a problem with eating bugs, just I'd get annoyed by how they taste.

I always wondered how goldfish would taste.

Or koi carp.

Nitro Vordex
Jun 11, 2009, 01:40 PM
Probably something like salmon.

CrimsomWolf
Jun 11, 2009, 01:44 PM
Or between salmon or proper carp.

I never got into any "exotic" foods.

Guess I'm rather picky when it comes to eating.

Which is why I can't fathom people's obsession with Mexican food.

I would eat any mammal as long as it wouldn't make me sick. That means deadly ebola monkies are out, and fluffy kittens are in.
Oh, maybe not bats, though; that would kind of weird me out.
I'm also down with birds of any feather and kangaroos (possibly rubbery?).

Actually, it had it's own flavor, not too far off from barbeque chicken(the dog was barbequed) But you could tell it wasn't chicken obviously. My friends grandma didn't tell me it was dog til after I tried it. I had no clue what it was, looked like chicken, with barbeque sauce. If I were to put a closest to flavor on it, I'd have to say alligator, without the fresh water taste. My friend down the street from me is Tai, and he lives with he grandma, they had a barbeque, and invited me, of course I went, shit, free food and beer, I'm in!
Like I said, they didn't tell me what it was, but was pushing me to try it, so I figured it wasn't anything "normal" to eat. So far with them, I've tried, turtle soup,(which isn't out of the ordinary), squirrel, dog, rat, moose, horse, and various parts of dead animals most people throw away, or stuff sausages with lol.
I'm very open in trying new things, I'd love to even try human once in my life, shit why not?! If it doesn't kill you, it will make ya stronger.

Oh btw, they get their weird meat from a market in out city, everything is grown to become meals, no diseased meat or anything like that, so I was told.

Rosemary + lamb = mouthgasm (for reals)

Or koi carp.Koi are expensive as fuck, also, don't carp have a reputation of not being the best fish for eating anyway? I dunno though, to be honest, I don't really care for fish, so I don't pay attention to these things.

I wouldn't mind trying Blowfish, I've heard that is something like 500 dollars a plate, and you have to sign a form, saying they aren't responsible if you die, Its also usually served in a 5-course meal... But I've also heard its really bland flavor-wise

I fucking HATE fish. I lived by a lake and it was all I ate growing up, and I didn't even like the stuff.

The weirdest thing I've every eaten was alligator, but that was good.

i've had too much salmon crammed down my throat as a little kid, can't stand the stuff now. Although I love most other types of fish.

In fact, cod grilled with hot peppers, bell peppers, and onions in a pineapple-teriyak merinade is to die for <3

I've eaten enough other seafood though, like crab and lobster. I hate shrimp...and that's about it. My family was never big on fish I guess.
