XBOX EP 1&2 advise please

I havebeen red ring rico'd on my 360 so while its being fixed I am thinking of getting out my old xbox. I was not online when I had my xboxbut I think I read somewherethat you can use your current gamertag on the original box?
I am asking this as iirc u need to have a gt to use the offline part of this game but I am really unsure so anyone who does know , your answers will be very welcome.

Yep you can use your 360 GT on your OG xbox. Just do an account recovery from the Xbox Dashboard and you should be good to go. And yeah, you do need to have an XBL GT on your xbox if you want to play PSOX at all.
