That one day will be a lot sooner than you think psymon. We are currently getting an update for an event, which will skyrocket your level very fast. In a similar event called the MAG, i leveled an alt from 1-70 in about 6 hours maybe.

Pre-expansion is really good to get the feel for PSU if you have never played but the expansion is really needed to get the full PSU experience. If you can, I really would recomend purchasing it.
