Which weapon is best against the monsters in the ruins?

Shot type weapons, or Swords. And strong single hitting weapons, like DoubleSabre types and mechguns.

i like using weapons that hit multiple enemies, but if im too weak to melee (with my fomar) i will use techs

I like using Vulcans with good hit % and high % on ruins.

That works for me pretty well. I kill them quickly

with my hunewearl i usualy took a dragon slayer with some ruins % and mechs with hit %. mostly i used mechs and just casted techs to exp from all the monsters
