Are Section ID's random? Or are they determined by your starting color?

it's your name. each letter has a number value and the last letter of the total reflects the ID you get...or something like that

Yeah, there's a calculator on this site where you can put in your character name and it will tell you the id it will yield. Name is actually the only thing that affects section ID. Not only that though, but spaces and even capitalization of the name affects it too. My main is a Yellowboze, and my still good secondaries are Redria and Greenill. Redria I think is a good ID to have all around actually, especially if you have characters of every class.

There are several section ID calculators you can download from this site. All work well (I have tested and own all of them) and can help you with what you may want.
