Mag Cells?

Ok,I'm really confused about the whole MAG evolution thing. How many times can a mag evolve w/out a mag cell? Where can I find a mag cell and how do I know what it will change into? I've always wanted one of those lil chao mags:smile:

4 times, final time turning into a rare mag such as Nidra.

You find Mag Cells online from Jack o'Lanterns and Christmas Presents.. meaning they're not avail at the moment.

there should be magcells offline but there are afcourse realy rare they can be found in forest on very hard

I'm pretty sure there is no way to find a mag cell offline in PSO ep.1&2.
