It's a new game on PS network that resembles the old Arcade game, Arkanoid.

You control a paddle and hit a ball the break the blocks. I've played this, and different clones of it before. I'm always interested to old-school games brought back in some way, so I wanted to try Shatter.

In this, the playing field can be sideways, classic, or circular. Each level being one of the 3. There are power-ups and other features There is also a boss rush and a bonus mode(which I currently rank #10 in). There are leaderboards which record everyone's score, if you feel the need to prove yourself to the rest of the world.
For $8, it's a fun game and definitely worth the price. I wish they gave the opinion to turn off the power-ups once you beat, it would've been a nice challenge.
