Story mode level?

Had a question or two-
First, there is only 8 story missions, correct?
Second, do the levels of the creatures reflect which level you are at the time, or do they stay a certain level as you go by?
(the reason I ask this is because I have a level 29 Newman MF, and the story missions are ridiculously easy, and I just completed missions 5)
That's why I ask if the level reflects which level the player is.
I might think of a few more, but for now that's it :D

You should know, playing the game for awhile.
but....

1) Yes, there are only 8. Each has a certain number of acts.

2) I'm pretty sure it doesn't. My F Human was lvl30some and I was in the mission in moatoob, where you are investigating the crashed shuttle, and the creatures were in the like the low 20s

I played through the story mode just to get through when it came out in JP, so I didn't actually read anything lol.
