casting speed AT vs MF

I always thought that the speed boost for tech casting was the same between MF and AT. A friend of mine who is a very good techer told me that the casting speed on MF should be faster than AT. Is this true?

It was believed to be true, but its been proven that they have the same casting speed.

However, Masterforce is the only type that gets an inceased speed with Rods.
