Photon Hunting

Hiya all,

I know photons drop in near enough any run on any difficulty, but does anyone have any tips on runs which have high photon drop rate (excluding rare missions). As i'm not willing to pay high prices for photons in player shops but I'm getting through them so quickly with all my synths recently.

Depends on which photon you're farming.

Ban-photons: Any mission in the Parum Meadows (ex: Plains Overlord), also Moatoob GBR missions give quite a lot too (there's also Lonely Laboratory on Moatoob)
Ray-photons: Neudaiz Sakura zone (ex: Flowery Poursuit, Sakura Blase)
Di-photons: The current GBR on Moatoob gives enough.
Zon-photons: Parum Rozenom zone (Scarred Planet, Lightning Beasts)
Gra-photons: Pavillon missions (ex: White Beast) and relic sites (ex: Sleeping Warriors)
Megi-photons: The Colony missions, any of them.

You can hunt on any difficulty.

You can also trade megi-drops and zon-drops for photons.

I don't know how efficient that is, but unsafe passage has some photon boxes that drop random photons. Military Subway also has lots of those. MAG has more structured photon drops and is pretty long.

I stick to the drops and shops route.
