PSZ: Whats a "Photon Art"?

I heard that they will be in PSZ, but what are they?

Basically, Photon Arts are special attacks which can be performed using a hand-held weapon. It's not a normal weapon-based attack nor a tech, but they still take PP to use.

In Phantasy Star Zero, you hold down the normal attack button, for your melee or gun weapon, until the icon changes to the Special (Photon Art) attack indicator. Release the button and you perform the action. Here's an example.

Certain Force Staves have a Photon Art called Pogo. When you use the Photon art instead of the usual pattern of you whacking the enemy with the staff, you jump on the the staff and you magically jump with it, like a magical pogo stick. Sparks are flying around, and any close range enemies will get hit by the attack up to a few times.

each weapon type can have 1 of 3 photon arts but the unique weapons ALWAYS have a set photon art. this means that the unique weapon cant have 1 of the 3 photon arts. just 1 from the 3.

here's an example, the sword Milius Breaker will ALWAYS have the photon art "Over End" (it's the giant beam sword photon art). it cant have dynamo spin or sonic raid because it's a unique weapon aka a rare weapon.
