I'm currently a 78 Human, 13 Fortefighter, 1 Fighunner.

I'm considering trying out Fighmaster, but I gotta 10 my 'gunner.

Is Fighmaster worth it? And what would be the best place to level Fighunner.

Thanks in advance!

Their increased attack speed and exclusive Lv.50 Skill PA's definitely make it worth it.
Statistically they may not seem as powerful as Fortefighter, but as I said above, the speed and PA levels definitely compensate for it.
However, if you don't have a decent S-rank weapon/armor selection, it will be difficult to make use of this job properly.
Master classes can ONLY use S-rank weapons and Armors (they can use any rank units for their armor however).

If you have friends to help you level, I recommend doing Egg Thieves (Parum's Guardian's HQ mission)
If not, just run the GBR constantly, you should get the occasional Rare Mission and what not.

Well, I have plenty of S-rank weapons, I didn't know the speed was greater.

Egg Thieves it is!

Yes, the reason Master classes are so popular is for those two reasons.
All three of them have increased attack speeds and all three also have exclusive Lv.50 attack PA's.

The bolded part is important to make good use of this class, not just using crap s ranks with low %.

Well, I'm primarily an axe-user. Most of my axes have 20-30% ele affinity.

Just 'cause they're home-grown doesn't mean they're crap, I don't have millions of meseta to drop.

You have just brought up 3 reasons to not play fighmaster:

Well, I'm primarily an _axe-user_.

Most of my axes have _20-30%_ ele affinity.

I _don't have millions_ of meseta to drop.

Money and good stuff is obligatory for this class. You need more than just 20-30%. And of course you need more than just axes. Jabroga doesn't solve this whole game yet.

A really bad fighmaster, "specialising" on sucking with tornado dance and anga jabroga/dugrega, preferably with weapons of the same elements as the enemy, can really ruin this game for the whole party. I hope that this wasn't your plan.

I'd say if your best stuff is 20-30%, then you are probably better off leveling bullets and using guns. If you don't have the millions, then don't play master classes. I also don't do it and i don't think i miss that much.

It's true, you can get away with low skill levels if you have 30%+ Weapons, but you can't just use Axes.
You maybe able to get away with Dus Majarra, Anga Jabroga, and Tornado/Spiral Dance, but just Axes won't cut it.

While that's true, I have yet to get Jabroga. I haven't played in a LONG time, I have Anga Redda at 36 or 37.

Main reason for wanting to go Fighmaster is that I've heard it was as fast as Acrofighter.

I played an Acromaster on PSP, and I enjoyed it.

I wouldn't detour you from going Fighmaster even if your PA's are low, because what faster way to level them than being a faster attacking class.
The PP usage is 130% (+30% more PP used than the standard)
Fortefighter uses 80% (-20% less PP used than the standard)
So prepare to use many more charges, but it's well worth it.

Just know that you won't be as effective in a party than you would be as say FF or FI (that is if you have high % A-ranks at your disposal)
But for PA leveling purposes, or casual play on missions that aren't really that difficult, FM all you want.
