Question about rare items.

so i heard that certain items can stop rare drops. if anyone knows i can really use a link to a list of some sort or if you can just post a list that would be great.

i think i unintentionally stopped myself from getting the items i want/need. :(

oh ok thanks. so it stops the drops if you used a cheat?
