Starting with this month - October 2009 - we're going to dispense with the monthly format and wait for the thread to reach a predetermined number of posts before it is locked. The previous thread can be found here (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168699).

Remember this is a family-oriented forum. Pictures containing inappropriate sexual acts or a large amount of profanity should not be posted here. Also, use URL tags if you have a large number of pictures to post or the pictures exceed 1024 pixels in width. This will help reduce page stretching and loading time for the page.

I m proud of all my chars, since I wrote a story and planed ahead a lot before starting each one. I actually decided Arika even before the game release. (altho I decide costume later because I couldn't know all costume before game released)

btw, is new event good? blah, I wanna plat it soon.

woah! that's amazing, ryu sure did an awesome job on the lighting O-O i admire ppl that create stories for their characters, it makes them unique aside from what the game only enables you to create. it makes them more meaningful than just being a beast, cast etc. ^^ this makes me envious, i wish i could come up with a solid story for my main char, but i suck at writing out story ideas and stuff ;\

Arika doesn't do all the custom poses, someone else does that.

@ Gundam, I just posted it 2 reply before you that it is Ryudo's 3D program lol <,<
I told him exactly what pose I like by showing him similar pictures etc.

Actually, he has been teaching in my group about how to rigged character pose lately.
basically you need to learn 3Dmax first.

(If it weren't for the text on the right, you wouldn't be able to tell. It actually leveled further back in a pack of Go Vahras, but it took a little bit for the message to scroll up the screen since some collected rares were working their way up first. By the time it became visible, I was off attacking a pile of debris... <_<)

I don't know if I could play for reals on the JP server. Not being able to read anything really sucks. I am enjoying looking at everyone's clothes and rooms. Ill try and catch a glimpse of a fully GASed MF in action sometime.

Also, none of the rare map clips are repeats of other rare map clips >_> I got THAT many of them... These are 85% of my failed runs during my last 2 sittings (I didn't bother with the ones I complete with 7:20+ times). And I had another sitting earlier with the red costume but didn't save all the failed B1's, B2's, etc.

Yes, but becareful, That Lavis=Cannon is very rare.
the market price in JP now is 200 mil + for any elemental %.

Good side : The mission is pretty fun, basically this is what MAG should be. (try it in your account and u will know) It has the layout of enemy pop up more PSO-like. (you fight multiple enemy spawn and pop up one after another at the same area for a few times on left/ on right each) and at the end of each zone you will fight boss with full HP.

The mission go in :
1. Forest stage + Deragan. (in my patch Deragan also have PSO dragon music lol)
2. Cave stage(multiple element of vanda resemble multiple color of evil shark) + De rol.
3. Mine stage + Degahna
4. Ruin stage + Fakis first form (more similar to PSO DF 1st form) -> Faiz 2nd form. (more similar to PSO DF final form)

I think they try to mimic one of the most popular quest in PSO that you fight 4 bosses.

Bad side: Not only it(Lavis) is very rare, it is pretty hard solo, every enemy now have full hp of lv 180 (not half-HP like most of the event) And it has restiction that you only get 12 boxes if you solo or duo. you get 20 boxes if you play with 3-5 people. and you get 26 boxes if you play in full party.
There are some little secret in each area that give you extra 2 boxes at the end too.
(and it says that if you complete all secret, you have chance to go into ??? area in which you fight every kinds of rare monster in PSU)

**Honestly, I can't recommend doing action poses to anyone unless you're willing to put much time in scanning and picking a few lucky shots out of hundreds of them. I also fully understand how difficult it is for the camera man to take good action pics in 1st person view.

I might post the rest on screen shot thread later on when I can.

Yes, in fact I've seen a few made drop at Protectors α＋ end box(Adahna route) but don't feel too bad, mine was only 13% ice and I doubt if Asura set bonus is even worth losing arm slot unit.. :/

*Oh btw, it does seem to have its own distinctive sound effect but I could be wrong.. :P

But it's really sad how many people ae still online. Even from new people I meet, they give me their cards and then I never rsee them on again. Maybe only like still one or two times.
You really need to make little group of friends or else you are basically lost of there is no event or so.

Yea, which is what I did.
I have my cards set in groups.
The first few are people I talk to everyday. Though some 1's I don't talk to anymore at all.
2 Was Dai-Vanguard. I have most of them in (Alpal is in that set, but only because I haven't changed it yet).
DV is long gone. :(
3 was another clan, 4 also. I wasn't in all, just had acquaintance/friends in each of those, and it was easier to clump them together.
I still have my little group. They will tell me to get on, or I'll tell them. Whatever works.

You should remove your old cards that you say never online for a long time and change new set of card. I often not online in the peak time, but I always still see more than 20-30.

Took me 15 minutes to find a Degahna Cannon board, cooked it, stirred it and BAM! I got me an old friend back from the v1 days after finding a Degahna Cannon board on my first run on the first day of release which I just gave to a friend a couple of weeks ago.

So I decided to start hunting a Repca. I got all of my light bullets in order and grabbed some light melee weps.

I started yesterday, for a bit. Ran maybe 15 TD runs with some friends.

Well, I decide to try SEED Awakened at One2's suggestion.

It's my first run, and 3 peeps join me. It's about half-way through the mission:

So the times here have not changed since the Guardians Limit Attack am I right? I heard someone say that the times there are updated regularly so some of the times were post-supplemental update...

Edit: Looks like it is updated daily. I am curious though as to what the JP players got DURING the Guardians Limit Attack, because I saw a JP TA of Bruces Dungeon S, and they could only do about 3:5X on S-rank more or less S2.

Well, S2 has been released for less than a week and we've only had time to TA it for 3 sittings. Each time our time has improved by 20 seconds or so.

As for beating the JP time, I don't know if we can do that. Regardless, we'll still be doing trying to improve our time.

I still think 1 year is a gross exaggeration especially since nothing happened during that time. So you haven't got MAG+ yet, big deal? :-?

I meant purely on a time basis, we are roughly 12 months behind.

Regardless, my friends and I know very well we're not up to par to the JP TA'ers. However that doesn't stop us from doing it and we'll still be posting videos to encourage other US players to TA.

Hi! I'm trading a 43% dark Lavis Cannon+10 for 1500m meseta!

Odd thing about the Lavis weapons, Twin Cannon is GC only and untradable whereas the Lavis Cannon IS. Adding the fact that there are 5 different Lavis weapons (saber, twin saber, dagger, double saber, bow), and you're gonna end up with a rather convuluted exchange system, if any.

I would but you need roughly 42-46% dark armor percent and mine is only 32%. Even with 36% dark Serafi-Senba, the little tentacles still do 3-5 damage with Freeze/Resist equipped so I had to use Rainbow unit for b1 -_- Rather annoying lol.

This is also because you had competition. We would've settled for 7:30 range if we weren't beating each other. I'll bet the JP players had like 6:30 though. For RoF your target was Mayumee's time. For the 4th System, Drexx was your competition.

And yes, Alpha was obscenely difficult, arguably the hardest mission to TA up to this point.

Meaning....I always do stupid mistakes, and rather me learn from them, I just keep doing them...:/
Not that I don't want to improve, or don't want to get shit done faster...it's just that...well, I don't care.
Not saying that to insult you, or any TAer, but even when I try doing speed runs, I always make small mistakes that end up costing me more time than if I would have just moved out of the way of a tentacle or megid or foie or anything......
Let me take a breath now lol.
Anyway, every TAer out there, keep it up, I enjoy watching the videos!!

If you didn't notice in Ellipsis's or I bloopers videos, you see mostly block 1 mess-ups, and mostly first and third jabs. I'd rather not admit how many I probably screwed up just on those two...every SINGLE time.

A little record I kept track of for myself was I think I had 18 unsuccessful block 1's in a row......18!

Cultural similarities are always more interesting to see than the differences. Like how even the JP servers can be as bad as the 13-year-old n00bs when it comes to bitching someone out for playing the "wrong" race-class combination.

On the other hand, Acrotechers who don't bother to learn any buffs but Megistar are lazy and tipping their hand on exactly how much they care about helping the rest of their team. Hell, even I use S/D/R/Z on my wartecher.

I was testing my computer's ability to handle 1280x720 while recording. Looks like it does all right, although certain PA's do experience slowdown. I will record on 1280x720 if 10 extra seconds on my run doesn't matter.

Yeah technology grows and outdates itself so fast. I believe internet speed doubles every 12-14 months and storage / RAM doubles every 18 months!!! It is better to wait for good technology to become cheap and then buy it. But then, before you know it, BAMM! even better, ceaper goodies come out!

Alpal day! (prepare for lots of pics!)
It was a fun filled day, and was probably the most awesome player created event day!
Tianna and I got second, but we still had fun. Not many people can beat Rau and Bobby and their ridiculous times!
Congratulations to all the winners, and happy birthday Alpal!

(but for the true lol, it is my first picture that color, so I wouldn't expect people to see it all good)
For the beast, it is not even a max size like most other people. Arika beast already count as more neutral than most other char. it is only on a little bit more than mid size. 90% of chars I seen use max size tho. ;)

I think this isn't even the fastest map variation. But I haven't gotten the other variation since the 1st time I ran this mission.
