If you've downloaded the demo, share your thoughts and observations in this thread. Use the Countdown thread (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170155) if you are having downloading problems.

Nice it works. You do need official firmware, at this time, to run it.
It allows you to import a character from the PSP1 save. I used my japanese PSP1 save for it. However, while it gets your name and selected PM and such, you're likely going to have to go through the whole character creation process just to get your character look back.

I'm still in the character creation, and I have to say, I'm amazed.
I love the creation:D
I'll post more about how I think of it, later.

Wow, and I thought the human class looks sick. But the newman class male ehem kinda shits on it in a manner of speaking. Newmans look too awesome.

It's pretty easy. I pretty much already figured out most of it. It is interesting what they switched. The Select button is now used to pull up the Chat macros. We all know that there's extra settings to set up auto-responses your character does when certain conditions happen.

Otherwise, it has most of the same controls as the previous game. You now have 3 lanes of the weapon/item palette, though. However, the 3rd and new rightmost palette lane (the ability to switch armors) must be navigated with the D-pad. Thankfully, control-wise, and menu-wise, it keeps everything familiar, but mainly adds on what was already there.

The guns having the charge shot is nice, but also note that Lockon is universal now. So yes, gunners and techers can now lock on an enemy and moving around will circle strafe facing them like in Phantasy Star Zero.

To dive roll, simply hold the Strafe trigger (L) and while holding the direction you want to roll, tap the pickup button (O for this Japanese release). You can roll in 8 directions, even diagonals are valid. Just be careful, at least to lower-level weapons, the PP cost for dives are much greater. So you don't want to go crazy with them.

Holy cow, these new haircuts are epic.

Volcompat321

CAST's look awesome!

L and o to dodge!
And I guess from transferring my data from the JP game, I got a weird white circle aura thing.
It's pretty interesting. Does nothing special, from what I can tell so far.

Akaimizu
Oct 31, 2009, 11:30 AM
And oh, by the way, there's something else. The select button *Used* to be used to go into first person mode. That is now accomplished by holding the L-trigger (strafe button) and tapping the D-pad. Tapping the D-pad, while that is held down, will toggle first person mode on and off.

We should catalogue which type from PSP1 gets which effect unit, apparently its decided by what type you were when you transferred to PSP2.

Oddly enough, I didn't get an Aura with my save. Still got my worn clothes to carry over. The game is running quite fast, at this time. I do appreciate the elemental effects shown when hitting with an opposite element. I like how firing the freeze rifle actually shatters ice off fire creatures with each shot.

Volcompat321
Oct 31, 2009, 11:44 AM
I didn't automatically get the aura.
I had to equip it, I believe.
It was in the 4th page of items.

Akaimizu
Oct 31, 2009, 11:48 AM
Page 4 only had my carry over clothes, no aura. (Another note, a green cone on the map shows what entrance to that map you've come from, the blue one is a destination to the next map) Doors seem to have a similar color code, here. Static blue if you haven't opened it up yet, turning green. And I noticed it only allows me to carry 1 scape doll. (Maybe a demo thing, but interesting)

Volcompat321
Oct 31, 2009, 11:49 AM
What I did was go to the clothes, the one not equipped, I believe I hit the second option, and then the aura started to show.
Try that?
I also found (or was given to me) an extra armor thing. It has 4 slots (I think) looked like-
--------
--------
--------
--------
I also equipped this, using my first armor already, hitting the "add" option, think it was the second one.

Amherst_Wind
Oct 31, 2009, 11:54 AM
Equipping Units is now done via the Line Shield itself, you select the second option on a Line Shield in the same way you would attach a PA to a weapon, then a list of all your Units appears, then you just pick one to equip.

DreXxiN
Oct 31, 2009, 11:59 AM
This game is really awesome so far. I love how armor is on your pallete, and charged shots are awesome too. PA's look a lot more experienced and refined, styles are super unique, and bullets have special effects (My Frozen Shot has ice particles breaking off the bullet when it hits the target.)

The only thing I can't figure out is how to go in first person..perhaps you can't anymore? XD. Doesn't matter anyway, guns have sorta a Pseudo-auto-aim feature now. I'm normally against this, but I'd say it's pretty well implemented here.

Volcompat321
Oct 31, 2009, 12:02 PM

It's like some awesome. lol.

I rate this game 100/10 lol.

Amherst_Wind

Guns have PAs but obviously no longer Element PAs like in PSU.

Akaimizu

I'm currently working on what the options mean.
I cant read JP, so I have to do it by trying.
I see a weapon switch, HOLD or click, just like in PSU and the first one.
There is also a L bitton Hold or click option.

That looks like brightness circle.

But each player who imports will get 1 of 4 auras. You can try again if you didn't get the one you want .

If you are a ranger, describe the "bullet" photon arts, i'm lacking information in that regard. (I'm not talking about charge shots though" and i know each gun comes equipped with an element.)

Akaimizu
Oct 31, 2009, 12:30 PM
I got it, thanks. The Aura does indeed come from the armor attachment. I picked ranger. It was the Brightness Aura for me.
My Rifle bullets and my handgun originally were Freeze. My Rifle's PA is simply called Power Shot, it's only level 1 so I still need to find higher PAs to up it, I believe.

I must say, Blocking and Dodging really does add such a huge amount of feeling to this game. Been playing for about 5 minutes now, and...

*New sword animation looks ALOT better and feels more Controlled (instead of flinging around a giant stick), and is ALOT faster on the Just Attack. And the new PA is cooler than any Sword PA on the current game.

*Oh, and that counts for the Saber PA too. Its pretty awesome.

*Blocking is super neat. If you Just Counter, it does damage to the opponent, and initiating an attack starts you off in Just Attack mode.

*It may just be me, or the fact im playing with a F Newman, but it feels like you die alot quicker on this game lol.

*uh, i think i just Just Blocked a projectile and reflected it...

* Chain system may have effectively destroyed PA spam. The damage whilest using it is far higher than without.

* effects upon elements are a welcome plus

*Charging a Handgun bullet will hit two adjacent targets as well as increase damage

* Im sure someone mentioned that you can Lock-on and Circle Strafe with Handguns and Technics now. I think a certian flying boss will actually be fun to fight now, but i havent fought a flying enemy yet to confirm how Airborne lockon works.

More useful observations to come. Ive only played for like 15 minutes, and there are so many different shops and options im just going to leave them alone for now.

I haven't tested the bed. I'm not sure you can lay down on it yet. That character is Emilia, laying down on *your* bed, at the time. When you enter your room, the first time, she's in there. Her falling asleep seems to set up for a different scene (another personality comes to the stage, then). The ship, you operate from, is pretty keen. It has multiple areas (lobbies) from which you get to do stuff. It's kind of like a compact version of the PSU Guardian's colony, so you don't have to run around too much, to get places. Of course, rooms come back in full effect with the ability to redesign them. The difference is that a lot of places don't load from the hub. When you run into the Bar, or the Appearance shop locale, there is no load to a different zone, you actually run straight in there more like Phantasy Star Online. It does load to go to your room, however.

Akaimizu
Oct 31, 2009, 01:17 PM
You can't sleep on the bed. You can only sit on it. The sleeping part was just a special Emilia position in the storyline, that's all. To place items in the room, you want to turn on the room placement option. It behaves pretty much exactly how it did in PSU AOI. When you enter the (My Room) door, from the ship, it'll give you the option to which room you want to enter. Since I only have one room, I could only select my own or to cancel. They also give you the option of password protecting your room, interesting.

Armor attachments being generic again makes me smile.

Also nice to know that non-key NPCs are back, walking around. Not strange disappearing ghosts. They pace kind of like they did in PSO. You can talk to them.

I love it and I'm a ranger. You can see the effort in this title, this early. It's beginning to feel like an actual successor to PSU. Some PAs are found in the shop. Kind of like PSO did for techniques. They come with their levels. Right now, for Twin Handgun, I see two PAs. A Power Bullet PA at level 2 and a Hit Bullet at level 1. There does seem to be a PA limitation, though I can't tell how limiting that would be. The current PA limitation is 136.

I really like that the item names don't right away dissappear after you pick up a item. It is just something really small but nice!

I do not know if it has been mentioned. But you do not need to hold L to do the dodge. Just run in a direction and double/fast press circle. You will also dodge. This way the dodge works way more smooth. (sorry if this had already been mentioned!)

Wow this type customizing is amazing...
Essentially you can create whatever type you want with regards to weapons at least. If you go to the Extend Points shop and de-select all the default weapons you have, you get the points back, for example I'm a Hunter and I de-selected Madoogs, this got me the extend points they cost to equip back, which I put towards getting Double Sabers to B rank!
This is just incredible... its expensive though, you can have a ton of C or B ranks, but I think if you wanted to have a few S ranks you'd have to cut back on some weapons and not have them at all.

I also just met two buffed monsters. That ring around their feet is really cool. One of them dropped me 500+ meseta =D They also do need more hits to kill.

Edit: I didn't know, but there seem to be different level of buffed monsters. The first two I saw had orange like rings around their feet, the light of the ring was also very small. Just now I saw a monster with a buffed red ring, and the "flames" of the ring reached much higher up.

Still, I'll have to pop out for a bit so I can raise this character and see more of the demo. The only thing about monsters with special circles under their feet, while it does guarantee a drop from them, the quality of such a drop isn't insured. They sometimes give pretty weak drops.

Sorry double post.
But I think it should be mentioned that when creating a Cast and choosing your secondary color, you get a color bar like when choosing hair color.

two very interesting observation :

De Ragan --

- The Pushover, wimpy kitty De Ragan we once knew is long gone -- this guy actually tries his HARDEST to kill you on this game. Hell, he WILL kill you on this game. His HP has been severely increased, his attacks are stronger and are far more frequent. He is no longer an idiot that will walk around and never hit you with his attacks anymore.

-His Fire Beam attack has been taken away (seriously, it never hit anybody or did any damage anyway). It was replaced with the Fireball attack -- it hurts. When near death, he still uses the Flamethrower attack though.

-He doesnt seem to really fly that high in the air anymore. His fireball homing has been severely increased -- Dodging and Blocking are to thank for this.

More Force updates!:

-I dont believe you can charge your technics, but it doesnt really matter, since they come out alot quicker, almost equal to using a Striking Weapon without the PA. It seems like some spells are used for gaining the Combo Meter up, and the Ra spells gain the damage from it. (similar to regular attack and PA.) This isnt always the case, because Ragrants (the new Ra-type light move, i dont know if its Ragrants or just Grants) actually can do combo damage.

-This is something ALL forces have been wanting and needing!!! Congratulations, your Ra-technics can now hit multiple spots on large enemies. We no longer are useless vs. Bosses.

(at least, it hits multiple spots on the De Ragan. I havent fought any other enemies.)

Ive come to the conclusion that Just-Attacking technics must not exist, because if you use a Just-Counter --> Technic, it doesn't increase the damage. But it really doesnt matter, because the inclusion of Technic Combos makes as FARRR more versatile than before, and the fact that the weapons themselves have %s on them makes life far, far easier in a way.

Been playing around with Type Customization too. This game is far more deep than AotI wishes it could be, and its only the tip of the iceberg, seeing as i cant even read anything and we're restricted to lv 15 content.

This right here!
I played against him earlier and failed bad. If he gets you right you might not have the chance to heal.
He loved to do a swing tail and RIGHT AFTER that a earthquake combo on me. He actually barely stands still, and if he does, he shots a fire bomb on you so it's kinda hard to chain him or even attack him without getting hurt. You will really need to learn how to dodge and block if you want to survive this without losing all your mates.
I am really happy about this, and it's really awesome to finally have strong enemies!

Female Human Ranger. Fought Deragan around level 7. He didn't kill me once (didn't have a scapedoll then) but he definitely makes you have to utilize the new abilities now. The charge it makes can quickly and suddenly veer your direction, and of course, the tracking fireballs he shoots with more impunity. If you don't dodge or block right, you will eat up mates. At low level, don't hang around the fight with half your life left or less, heal up. Only because of the high chance you can get hit twice before your heal.

Non-long range guns don't track upwards as much as they used to, at certain distances. Sometimes, you have to get in a little closer. The color indicator will let you know. I'm still working up to level 10. There's a Fire elemental Mirage Blast and a Water one available.

First of all open the zip file and get the PSP2_special_trailware folder out.

After that, connect your PSP to your computer via a USB cable.

Next, your PC should ask you if you want to open the PSP documents. Do so.

There will be a folder called PSP. Open it.

Now open the PSP2_special_trialware folder, and keep opening it until you reach the Game folder.

Take that Game folder and place it inside of the PSP folder. (or if you already have a game folder on your PSP do what Amherst said!)

That should do it hopefully!

Redownload it. If it is corrupt, the archive downloaded corrupt.

One thing I also noticed about power or charge shots, as was mentioned before, it's very worth it to build up a combo on the monster. Fortunately, everybody can play into the combo. It makes a huge difference in the charge shot. For instance, my Power Twin Handgun shot (for a target where each bullet would do around 50 on a charge (Level 9 character, 2 ranger), when done during a combo of about 17, leaps to do around 180 per shot on the charge. Case is my PM hitting the beast, and my ranger using Twin handguns to quickly drive up the counter. It can be just as impressive with a good Rifle Power shot. As some have figured out, the Rifle Power shot hits like a shotgun on stuff like Deragan. Yep, damage across multiple hit locations.

The higher the chain combo the higher the charge shot and photon art damage.

I am missing info if the chain combo system affects Technics assigned to the TRIANGLE button. Check if your technic damage is higher.

I'll probably snag a PSP tonight to get all my information together, but test this info out thanks. :D

From reading this thread pretty much what sakai has been saying in every blog post has been coming true. When he released info about the technics hitting multiple areas on a boss, I didn't know it applied to larger enemies as well. Thanks for that info.

....wow, you're completely right.

I just tested it, it has nothing to do with the Technic itself. If the technic is mapped to Square, it'll build the Chain Counter -- if its mapped to Triangle it'll do the Chain Damage.

Wow. That adds a WHOLE lot of depth to using technics. Im so glad you mentioned that.

I'm not seeing why you guys are saying De Ragan is so tough. I watched the video of it, and it didn't look like he was any harder than he ever was for someone severely under leveled. I'd dare say he looked easier, since combo finishers seem to do way more damage than you could normally do at that level, and you can just roll to avoid everything he throws at you.

You have to play it to understand fully. Maybe as a gunner it might seem underwhelming, but I can tell you from the perspective of a fighter that it is a much bigger challenge than the PSU version. Most of his attacks are the same besides a few, but he doesn't stop attacking, let alone he has a Godlike amount of health and can do some serious damage.

Next couple of questions, though: One, in some of the preview videos, I saw the characters performing what appeared to be automatic or reflexive poses during some group shots; do those actually show up in the demo, and is it possible to set your character's autopose, or is it preset by race/gender? Two, are gender differences in stats still in? If so, are they more drastic, less drastic, about the same in magnitude? Do they differ at all from PSU in what stats each gender gets a bonus in?

Oooh, that gives me another question: are the racial differences in PSP2 as huge as the racial differences in PSU, i.e. CASTs having half the TP of newmans, or has that matter been smoothed out?

And yet another: which model of the PSP should I get? ;o

Holy shit. Has anyone besides me fought the Spider UFO looking boss in Multi mode? I'm a level 13 and it's a level 18. I was fighting it for about 10 or more minutes and it ended up killing me twice so I had to go back.

That whole mission is amazing and so is the boss but DAMN that is one hard mother f......

A friend of mine and I went into that mission. I was level 10, enemies lv 14, they were STILL kicking my ass only 4 levels above me. We quit before we got to the boss, we'll try again at a higher level.

It's worth noting that enemies in multi-mode get a big buff compared to single-player, and that multimode was balanced around a three-person party. This explains why you had trouble doing it with two people.

Little late to this one, but his AI is improved. They took out some of his more useless moves, and added some things to the other moves he has. He homes in when he charges, and when he flies he only uses the homing fireballs.

Just improvements to make the fight more challenging. And he has a ton of health too.

I had to add a wand, or TCSM. I found a wand, so I added that.
You can keep adding or taking things away, so it's pretty cool.

Also, holding R while in the square menu thing, to bring up the lobby shortcuts, makes you do the opposite gender things.
Just like in PSU. (In PSU it was like holding shift).

Multi-Mode, beware though. Multi-legged weapon is a bitch. At level 13 it took me 10 mins, and still didn't kill it.

Also Bruces Dungeon and the PVP is on multi mode. But the only way to start Bruces Dungeon or PVP is with at least 2 people in the party.

Every chargeshot does that. Even the handgun bullet does surprisingly. On a Deragan im able to get off 3 or 4 targets at once. Weak, yeah, but 3 or 4 hits.

Not sure. I never noticed that the Twin Handgun Charge bullet hits multi-target. Though it hits multiple times. I don't think I've witnessed multiple targets with each shot of the blast.

Anyway this is a link to a movie with a Mirage Blast, among other things. Also demonstrates the special effect for Monsters that impact an opposite element armor:

http:/files.me.com/akaimizu/dwg2nt.mov

Anyway, I'm turning in. I have a couple movies posted in this topic, about as good quality as I can make it without a great harness setup or CFW to record it. Until tomorrow, everybody.

That photon point system that allows you to pick what weapons you can use is absolutely fucking genius. It's a standard concept in most other RPG-style games, but PSU was sorely in need of it. Now I can mix and match what I want, I love it!

Now I understand why there are few classes - because now that you can choose where everything goes you don't need "canned" classes that have all these ridiculous shortcomings (see: Guntecher).

It's just amazing how fixed this game feels. DORAGON SAKAI deserves a harem for this version of PSP.

-In Multimode, there was no drastic slowdown. None what so ever. The game ran smoothly, for the most part.
-The multiplayer mission with the 4 Legged Robot boss is a lot of fun. I used both of my mates and died twice. Bring scape dolls, everyone!
- My only gripe was that I died, but thats my fault. I'm watching my team mate fight the boss as I'm typing this, sadly. XD This game is a huge step up from PSU and PSP1. I really hope it makes a US release, and soon.

*Yawn* Hello peoples, so before I went to sleep I solo'd the Reol Badia mission, and its hella tough just like everyone said but I managed it eventually.

Some tips I noticed for anyone planning to fight him:
- Don't attack the core unless Reol Badia is slumped over on the ground!!!
- Attack the legs until he falls over, then run under him and attack the core while you can, you get enough time for about one combo and a PA most likely, then get outta there.
- When he uses the purple spinning leg blades run to raised ring around the outside of the arena, totally safe there.
- If he fires off the little helicopter bombs just outrun them until they explode, cause if one hits you, others will likely catch you before you can recover.
- When he launches rockets at you (which will usually occur when you are attacking the legs) either do some very well timed dodge rolls or just take the hits, hard to dodge.
- If he jumps up in the air then do a dodge roll to completely negate his crush attack, rather easy to dodge.

Now the good part, he dropped a rare!

C rank Grenade type
It looks like Reol Badia's body held sideways and shoots out missiles.

For that spider boss I suggest you take a little time working out how to block it's spinning thing and when it drops on you, since those are the only real attacks it does, it makes the boss much easier.

And Sakai is the man. Doing that whole Dragon Sakai bit, he just knew he had something special on his hands. Definitely a possible nominee for best PSP action title ever. I just noticed the import aura does not depend on your previous class, but the class you chose in the recreation of the character: Hunter gets sparks, ranger gets circle, force gets flowers and braver gets wings.

I don't know if I like the exclusive proportions/face/hair stiles depending on the race, in PSU the three fleshie races were only differed on the ears, now they have exclusive faces and some exclusive hairs, and the new clothes act weird with proportions, what in PSU could look "normal" in PSP2 looks like a tank. Beasts face can be or the one of a boy or the one of an ugly giant, all the other faces are removed for him, same for CASTs, and at least one hairstile is exclusive to each race (the one of the standard character, which is a shame, I wanted the male newman haircut for my beast -.-)

Well there's at least hope then. It's a little annoying that the first character you see is that guy with the pink coat and huge beard, and the only option available to you is the Pirates of the Caribbean-esque pretty boy goatee. I'll be disappointed if there aren't more options available later then, but I'll live.

That's about my only complaint anyway, the actual gameplay feels so much smoother, the rolling helps a lot so we're not just waddling away from enemy attacks, the character portraits during the cut-scenes look much nicer than those renders from the first game, etc.

I'm not going to bother importing the game, I'll just wait for an English release, but I like it a lot. Definitely feels like a big improvement.

But yeah, I'm enjoying it so far.

Also, was anyone else fool enough to fight De Ragan as a lv.5 Force? Damn, that took forever.

Hehe, I fought him at level 4 ranger no prob, I'll have to try as force!

I did. Best 20 minutes of de ragan I ever had. Having trouble gettin into force though after playing hu in psu and the drasticly different force in psz. I'm saddened by the fact I can't find any techs not in the shops too.

I've never pressed the Circle button in quick succession so much until yesterday. She's one of the worst characters they've ever developed for this franchise.

Why do newman females have all the ears?? Beast got the exact same ears (except some atrociously ugly ones for the males) and newman got Liina's, Leo's, Tonnio's and Laya's ears, ALL OF THEM BEASTS, at least give them to both newman and beast...

I think her non Goddess-like side was supposed to be perceived as an annoying character, though. It was most likely their intentions.

Also, man. It's honestly really strange that most of the negative comments are about aesthetics, when it's so much better than it was in any other PS online game. What pleases you guys? You guys would be screwed in being pleased by any other game's character creation! (Save 3 MMO's I can think of with maybe MORE, but not necessarily BETTER customization.)

The only issue I really had was getting my human's face to match my PSU humans, otherwise everything is fantastic, and usually can be further improved in the makeover shop.

fighting De Ragan as a lv 3 force. It almost feels like suicide.

The only complaint i have with forces ATM is that Rods need the ability to block. Im only really able to do real Chain damage against the De Ragan if im using a Wand + Shield. Otherwise, while your trying to chain spells together, hes just going to stomp/shoot/tail smack/roast you to death. If you're soloing, a Sheild is almost required, because once he goes Airborne all you'll have to rely on to not get hit by those bastard fireballs is your Dodge Roll, which takes up a good amount of PP when you're continously using it. You can rely on a handgun or something to boost the chain up and then smack him with attacks, but that isnt always easy because if you get hit, theres a good chance you wont be able to continue it. You can dodgeroll, but once again that eats up PP and leaves you without a finishing attack.

He isnt easy. I can tell that ST tweaked his constant attacking on the fact you can now Block and Dodge roll. Im sure rangers dont have much of an issue with him because you only have one or two attacks to look out for, but Hunters and forces especially have ALOT to watch out for now. Ragnus is going to be an absolute BITCH.

Edit: Gizonde lv6 works wonders on Ragan, so i know Gibarta'd do even better. With only 1 chain im pulling off 40x6 on his tail. However i SWEAR the bastard just Combo'd me : while he was in the air, he shot one fireball to knock me down, another right after while i was down, and then almost instantly air-dashed and finished me off....

Edit: Nevermind.

If your a force having trouble with De Ragan, then Handgun + Gizonde is your answer. Any chain number past 3 or 4 will do MASSIVE damage if you're anywhere near his body.

Im sure this'll get far easier once we can use higher level technics with greater speed and range though. If they'd just give me Gibarta, this boss wouldnt be nearly as difficult since i'd have a really good source of hitbox damage on my side.

I think it's mostly her voice actor that makes her come off that way. I'm sure the script is partly responsible, but hopefully her English VA won't sound as whiny and high-pitched.

Man, those high-pitched voices are the reason I vowed to only watch the anime of Orphen in English. -_-

Well for the case they want every chapter to be comparable in length and talk, of course Emilia would talk much in the first one, since she is the only story character in the party.
Once you partner up with 2 or 3 characters in the following chapters the talking will be splitted between them.
Then I think her voice will not only be bearable, but actually quite enjoyable.

So, I finally hit Ranger 5.

I'd say the most surprising thing about the game to me is the character growth. By level 12/RA 3, my Caseal was taking no damage in Sleeping Warriors up until the Svaltus without guarding. (I assume Polovorha can still do damage as well, but, you know, they move slowly and have no ranged attacks.) That took a lot longer in PSU.

I was also surprised that Ranger has the second highest MST. I guess they wanted to make Newman feel more appreciated as that class.

I didn't realize that the damage is still reduced to zero if you Exact Guard with any 2 hand weapon. It just doesn't damage the attacker as it would with a shield. I don't know if anyone's mentioned that yet, but it was a pleasant bonus for me.

Overall, I'm really enjoying the new system. The only thing that would make it better is if I find a whip.

Don't forget title rewards are now shared between all your characters the same as PS Zero, not like PSP1, which means only 1 of each title reward per save. So I don't suggest immediately throwing anything away you get as a title reward just in case.

Title rewards can be collected by simply picking the 2nd option on your vision phone, if its empty then you don't currently have any to collect.
You can check which Titles you do have by picking the 1st option on your vision phone, then the 7th option.

But they announced there was going to be a common box for all characters, didn't they? I don't think it will be a problem to get the weapon with a different character, unless you accidentally delete that character lol.

So anyone knows why I can't connect on multymode? I updated both PSPs today, and are from the same region :\ I noticed that when connecting, in the message that appears, the bottom line said "channel 1" in one of the consoles and the other one said "channel + some kanji", first time I see something like this o_O

You missed the point, if you get rid of something thats unique to title rewards (like selling the Guardians Colony deco I imagine) then you can't get another one by simply transferring another character from PSP1.
You only get one of everything from Title rewards, I'm saying dont throw or sell anything you get from a title reward and don't think "I'll get one of those for my other character too" cause you can only get one title reward per save.
Theres some stuff you get as title rewards that can be found (like Shark Puppet or the Feather Slicer) but some things you may not be able to find elsewhere.

I just solved it! the problem was what I just commented, one of the PSPs was trying to connect through "channel 1" and the other one said cannel and some kanji, I restored both systems to the original state (having to restart language/region/time/etc settings) and the one with the channel 1 message switched to the other one, and now they connect ^^

The demo is awesome. Everything PSU should be and more >_>

I've only done one free mission and the first Story Mission, but it's leaps and bounds beyond PSP1 or PSU.

My only problems so far are the preset faces in character creation (for Newman Female, most are really loli, and the rest are SUPER SRS BUSINESS >:[ ) There's nothing in between that looks...normal.

Definitely buying any US/EU release of this though (or I'll just suck it up and buy the JP one if it doesn't arrive here).

I'll be upset if Tristan can't keep her handsome good looks in PSP2. :( I just hope that the selection in the Clad 6 makeover shop is as good as everyone says it is.

As far as loli vs. SUPER SRS BUSINESS faces go--can't you still use the four-quadrant field to adjust feature size and eye slant, as well as change eyelashes and eyebrows? I know those all affect apparent age and disposition a great deal.

The four quadrant field to adjust the feature size seems to have been removed. Or, at least I didn't find it when making my character. Instead, there appear to be multiple versions of each face which cover most of that.
