demo: Wondering on limitations

I've gotten 3 slicers from one run... I've been wondering if I can upgrade on the demo to use them?
I don't think I know too much to know if I could... and how to lol.

You mean level up far enough to equip them, or upgrade the slicers themselves?

How the hell do I get into my room?? Do I complete Story mode first??

Yes, you have to clear the starting mission. (Chapter 1 I guess in this game. o_O) This is because a key story event happens whilst in your room.

When you highlight an item in your inventory, in the description at the very bottom of the screen, it should show the level prerequisite to equip the item. If it is 15 or less, you can become strong enough to equip them in the demo.
