k i have been checking the online status every 30 minutes all day. I will be up all night to monitor for everyones convenience. For future reference as of now i believe there are only 4 universe as of now. we will be using the fourth one. Also the parties can only be made and searched by the rooms names, members and party settings so all U.S. party names should be named US1 , US2 etc.
party discussions will be held here as well.

Thank you for the information, however this could or could not be the case. PSN always does maintenance, however it rarely affects the PSN for PSP. In most cases it is involving the PS3 PSN, as I have had friends unable to access the JAP PSN for PS3 but at the same time that they couldn't access PSN through PS3 they could do it on the PSP. So it is possible that this may not have any affect at all on the opening of the server.

That's true, same thing would have happened with Playstation Room. Guess Japan is fine with other countries playing their online handheld games. Wish they'd make Monster Hunter Online region free.

Thats true, but isn't that through Sony and out of Sega's hands while this server is something they directly control? I doubt they're actually IP blocking other countries from connecting though, I'm probably just getting paranoid, lol.

If you can't find it that way just go to the search engine and type Grimm as the Party name and it will locate for you.

Trading is also disabled in the demo. Unless it's an item you can drop on the ground, you won't be doing any trading until the full version comes out. Even then, you can't trade rares (of any rank), A-ranks, or S-ranks.

Well, your character walks and poses while you are setting up your game but once you're done with the settings and actually start the game (ie enter the city) you won't see the characters lined up until you hit the results screen for a battle mission. Then you have the winners giving a rasberry to the losers in the background.

It's random and changes and is default to the sex of your character. You aren't constantly posing though. You walk, pose, then go back to walking, pose again, walk, rinse, lather, repeat. If I can, I'll get a video of the set up screens up soon.

There's no turning it off either. I did manage to take some video, along with a few battle vids (1 win, 1 lose (come on force, don't just get masacared!)), but it takes way to long to encode them and they look terrible since I have to blow them up but you'll get to see what actually happens.

This is the single worst thing I've heard about the game and makes me hope that a new PC/console online Phantasy Star with less gender railroading comes quick.

To be fair you wont be seeing it much, the walking/posing screen is only used in normal ad-hoc mode. All you see on Internet Multi mode is your character standing in the background occasionally posing alone.

Well, the processing bit was because I just uploaded the video to Youtube and sometimes it takes time for the servers to process it and spit out a flash video file.

The options themselves are, on the left (top to bottom): Party name, password, comment, "play type," start party, reset settings, and return. These are the most important settings. The play type really a suggestion to other gamers so those looking to play battle mode won't spam your Bruce runs or your Badia runs. The options on the right are used to specify what kind of player you are looking for, from level to battle, if you have partner cards, main planet, etc.

The sign for the correct warp is which of the four nearby boxes is lit up though! Hard to notice at first but now its easier than PSU to find the right warp, once you know that bit of info of course heh.

Look over at things on the sakura wiki, it seems you don't have to wipe out all the monsters in under 10 minutes to get an S. You can skip a few apparently. The wiki currently lists it as 88 monster with at least 10 minutes remaining. And the tricks and traps aren't too hard either so with a little before hand planning, along with the some decent weapons, we may be able to pull this off.

For now, nope. may be in the future.

Its a Kubara slicer, btw. Kunahicc, 139 att, 144 acc, 2 star, equips at lvl 30. It grinds like 2 star weapon though.

The rewards seem to random though, but always a Kubara weapon.

I've gotten pretty close with some JP players but there always seems to be one person who doesn't know what to do; uses the wrong warps etc.

As for rewards, at first when I saw the stats on the Kubara weapons it was like :o
but then I realised if they're equip Lv30, are we going to have weapons with equal or better stats by that Level? Hopefully not and Kubara knockoffs will finally have a purpose but I doubt it...

You're telling me you don't see the obvious purpose already?

They're C rank weapons with A rank weapon stats. That alone saves you 1000-2000 extend points to use something that strong.

That being said, I won't be in a hurry to clear the mission given that I have to double my level to even think about using the reward. Also, I think I'll finally head online now, so I could use a team. Anyone's welcome to join.

I guess, maybe for weapon categories you don't really want to focus on. I would think you'd be spending extend points to get the weapons you want to focus on to S rank anyway. I still think by end game Kubara knockoffs are going to be pretty useless.
