New to PSO, New to this community

Hello, I am a newb both on these fourms and in Phantasy Star. However, I'm a long time Sega fan who stil plays and enjoys their old games. I picked up a copy of Phantasy Star 0 and once my DSi feels like cooperating with my internet I plan on playing the game online. I own a Dreamcast and know a place where I can get the original PSO for cheap ($8). However, I choose not to because the servers are inactive these days. But if anyone knows anything about private servers and the like I'd be glad to start playing!

(noobs are those that don't seem to learn though, which is not you, new player sure.)

Dreamcast PSO version 1, may not be the best version to play online now. In terms of support, as well as player base. The game has a lot missing which are in the newer games.

For an Offline $8 game, there was a guy around here who still played his Dreamcast v1 Offline, he may still do that on occasion.

To play DC PSO online you need V1 unless you have the PAL copy of V2 all other V2s don't work.
