In the in-game font, m is rather squished.

That was one of the very first things I had to complain about when I got the game. The lower case "m" sure looks squished.

It has to do with the incredibly tiny font. Makes the m's look horrible.

It's more or less out of necessity. English lettering often takes more room to say the same amount of stuff as Japanese.

It's just just a poor font choice, I got used to it though.

It's funny... all they had to do was add ONE pixel of width to the text... nay, just the m's and w's to make it look normal.
