grinding not working?

have some bergmanns that i would like to grind. the database says max grind is +25 . but i cant grind mine even once. why is that? or is the database wrong?

well the grinders in this game work differently, monogrinders cant grind anything over 3 stars, digrinders cant grind anything over 5 stars. only trigrinders can grind anything.

if you about this already, then im not sure what to say otherwise. this is all i can think of.

As Donnikun mentioned, the individual grinders will only work on certain item rarities. Monogrinders are only good for up to 3 stars. Digrinders add +1 for anything up to 5 stars.

The grinder names are definitely misleading.
