Recently, while playing free-mode another player emoted by waving at me!:-o

And I was wondering how do I use emotes, I looked through the games manual and in game menus and couldn't find that option.

While you are standing in town, hold down the L trigger and press a direction on the D-pad. There are a few gestures that are available to you.

you can also press L+R then any direction on the D-Pad for alternate versions of those gestures.
