sorry...brain not working so good tonight...

anyway, had a few questions (one I'm sure is iffy if it's a tech question or not, but it's not a gameplay question at all):

#1: Since I don't have my Gamecube yet, I took my memory card over to my friends house to start up some characters while I was waiting for my tax return to come in. Now if I were to use those characters on my copy of PSO, I would not be able to play with them online, right? It's not something I'm really worried about, but I was just checking on. My friend doesn't play online, btw.

#2: Do they still have that deal where you can play a month free of PSO online? If so, how does that work? I wouldn't mind having the month to see what it's like online, but since I don't have a credit card or a debit card or whatever, I'd have to get a friend to do that for me. Just depending on how that works, though, I may not be able to do that, so I thought I'd check :-/

iirc what i read here, it seems you will be able to use your character online, since it's id isn't based on the system id, unlike the DC PSO. Yeah the first month is free. At least it was when PSO first came out, but it should be still that way. Get 'em hooked and then jack up the price! Thats ST's modoe
