I have it on my rangers mag but so far, I haven't see any beneficial effects or damage that it does. What exactally DOES this photon blast do anyway?

Cast Shifta+Deband on you, Jell+Zalure on all enemies.

The more people chaining the more effect, anyone in the chain also gets buffed.

From my experience Midgul has to touch the enemies in order to give them Jel/lure status I noticed when Sarisa chained with some other npc that Mother Trinity wasn't effected when she used it, and even bosses can be effected by those status effects.

I don't even see her get the deband bonus as I cast shifta myself, so I was always iffy about this specific PB.
