it got eva, vocaloid, etc etc. you think sega'll work a way around it with license holders in US like capcom did with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, or simply take out all the bonus stuff included in JPN version?

They'll take the lazy way out and remove it probable. Just like psp1 dlc was ommited for no good reason at all.

Unfortunately they will probably take all that stuff out. :(

Not because they are lazy but because they don't have the proper liscencing agreements to use that stuff outside of Japan. Though if you are lucky, they won't remove the data but just remove access to it so if you cheat or convert a Japanese save to a non-Japanese version you may get lucky.

On the one hand, the leaked marketing notes that reveal that Sony and Sega were kicking around the idea of 30,000 PlayStation Portable + Phantasy Star Portable 2 bundles in the US is encouraging.

The franchise's entire fucking history, however, is extremely discouraging.

It's probably all gone. We'll be lucky if they don't take out infrastructure mode in some futile, misguided attempt at revenge for World War II.

PSŲ got all guest items removed, you see them as basic weapons if you play multyplayer with a japanese player using them, and they not only excluded the Miku leek, they also excluded Nintendo weapons, if sega could not reach an agreement with nintendo america how can they with all the anime distributors outside of japan...
