When I was subbed, I once in a while played on the Ps3, using the Ps2 disc.

Only when I was downloading something, or my laptop was acting up.
(It shut off, and wouldn't play right :/)

Other than that, I try to avoid playing on the Ps2 as much as possible. It's horrible compared.

I just did a marathon story mission run -
I'd only completed the 'basic' storylines up to and including Episode 7 (prior to this week).
Now, I've gotten not only the basic storyline complete, but sublplots 1->3 as well.

Gotta take a break, but will work on Subplot 4 next weekend.

Really, I've been blowing my spare time on Phantasy Star Zero for the DS...
that game really is a refreshing change!

I primarily play using the PS3 with the PS2 disk. I have the PC version and it runs ok but my laptop is just weak enough that anything running in the background causes horrible lag or even a disconnect so I don't play it as much.

I'm a PS2 player; my computer is a Mac from the generation before the Intel ones (So no Boot Camp, no Windows, no PSU ability) and my girlfriend's laptop is just weak-sauce and I don't feel too bothered with upgrading it.

I started on the Ps2(and for two years I played on it), but once I got my laptop (not even an awesome one..just a "normal" ~$600 laptop) and saw it played 1000x better on it, so I switched over.

I kinda want to get back into it... with the release of PSP2 I've been playing the demo pretty much nonstop, and it's really been playing with my old addiction. Problem is: the game is a fair rarity in my area, and it'd be cheaper buying it in store from my experience in trying to find a copy online. Not to mention the lack of players anymore... it wouldn't be any fun by myself unless I had a group I could count on to play with.

I've been playing more lately, but not as much as I used to. I've been averaging about 4-5 runs a day. I've also been on the scout for new people to add to my partner card list and I'm primarily waiting for MAG+ (I can't believe I'm saying that) :wacko:

I used to play AoTI online for 360 and later moved to the PS2 version when I got a PS3. I played that for awhile and couldn't afford the fee at the time. I recently got PSPo2 for Christmas. But idk, I feel like nothing has really matched the experience I had on the 360 version of the game.

Sure PSPo2 is really, really fun with a much better combat system, but the fact that I have to play with primarily people I can't converse with makes things a bit less fun.

How many stars are usually full on the PS2/PC version during low and peak hours? I'm contemplating coming back with my PS2 copy of AoTI, but I'm not entirely sure. Another fun point I miss when I play PSPo2 is the huge lobbies across all the planets, haha. I'd just like to be able to find a group I could play with consistently and be able to find some stragglers most times when I sign on, though. What do you guys think?

Well, I play on the PC and I remember seeing a full star once. (I've played for around 2-3 weeks, but not everyday on it).

About groups, it depends on your luck (my first group here was actually when I met a player while I was visiting their shop) or on doing the White Beast or other exp or item grinding quest of the moment.
