I'm going to be making a FOnewearl and then a HUcast real soon, so I want some advice on what materials + mag should I give to these characters.
The Force will focus mainly on Techs and the Cast on head on combat.

Easiest is pure MST or ATP. Simple.

pure MST for force and ATP for the hunter? Wouldn't it be good to give the hunter some ATA or DFP?

For the Force I'd say go pure MST. The hunter I'd make two mags a 50/50 ATA/PWR and a mag with 100 PWR for boss fights since they can't evade attacks. Probably full MST mats for the Force and full PWR mats for the Hunter as well.

NO ATA ON THE HUCAST! THERE IS NO NEED, THOSE POINTS WILL BE WASTED.

I would think that some ATA would be beneficial since ATA is low in HUcasts...

ATA is significantly higher in HUcasts, than Humars. (37 higher at level 100!) My HUmar is pure power and still hits accurately, so I would say definitely go for all power on your HUcast since they naturally have decent accuracy.

Also, I'd say full MST on your Force.

My lv85 HUcast still misses a very tiny bit with a 50/50 pow/ata mag...

A level 100 HUcast has a base of 280 ATA before any mats or any Hit stat on their mag. Let's add this to various weapon ATA scores (assuming an accuracy adjustment of 0), bearing in mind that the par ATA for Super is 550:

Milias Breaker (258 ATA): 538 ATA
Clair Doubles (245 ATA): 525 ATA
Alternative to above, Dioskuroi (261 ATA): 541 ATA
Frigiand (201 ATA): 481 ATA
Rouge Pulse (213 ATA): 493 ATA
Twin Violets (166 ATA): 446 ATA
Garland Drei (222 ATA): 502 ATA
Alternative to above, M25SE Missouri (267 ATA): 547 ATA
Lavis Kanon (245 ATA): 525 ATA
(Zero Saber, alternative to above, has enough, though--586 ATA)

I wouldn't recommend Hit mats, but I would recommend a mag with Hit if you're not at very high levels or if you're using weapons that don't get your total ATA over 550--which includes a lot of good ones, especially without accuracy adjustments (and with some of the very rare ones, good luck getting it).

What about ATA on your force for slicers? I've found them to be painfully innaccurate as soon as I entered hard mode x_o

Orrefe I don't think i'll be using slicers too much because i love techniques a lot!
