I wouldn't mind knowing how the offering box works exactly, all the others are pretty easy once you understand the basic layout and have a translated list of the available items.

The offering box works like a slot machine. You pay 1, 5, or 10 of an item (the types and number of items you can offer increases as you complete story mode missions) and if you get lucky, you get items from a limited pool. The more items you put in at a single time seems to increase the chances you get of getting an item.
