Release date for PSP2?

Ey I was just wondering if anyone knows a release date for PSP 2, I haven't been on a while since PSU seems to have gone down the drain. I'm from the 360 version. Well if anyone has any info please let me know! Thanks.

According to wikipedia there isn't one for europe or north america yet.

Its only just came out in Japan so it'll be at least 6 months from now, unless SEGA drastically changes how long they take to import titles.

Ok, cool thanks for the info. I was thinking about getting the first one because I recently got a psp. Is the first one any good? I didn't want to buy it and then have the 2nd one come out a week later. Will you be able to transfer anything from the first one to the second one?

The first one is very good. I spent 300 hours on a single character in that game. As for what will be transferable, no one knows. In the Japanese version you can transfer your character's appearance from PSP1 to PSP2 but no items or levels. How this will work in the non-Japanese versions is unknown but you should pray your pants off that this is still included in that release.
