View Full Version : Think I'm missing something about mag feeding...

I'm looking at different sources to help me make a pure Power mag... (Yes I know that isn't too unique). :0(

In looking at the feeding charts @ psoworld it looks like almost every time I feed a melee weapon to a mag I get a Power bonus and a Defensive penalty. Looks like the exceptions to this are tier 2 where a one star weapon gives you no defensive deficit, tier 3 for 2 star, and tier 4 for 3 star.


So, is the best way to build a power mag to use only one star items in tier 1 and 2, 2 star for tier 3, and 3 star for tier 4???

I feel like I am totally missing something here and any assistance/help is very much appreciated.

If you want a Pure Mag don't even worry about the penalty. Just feed it melee weapons and you'll be fine. The penalty just lowers the other stat, in this case Def, but since you won't be giving it any Def it won't matter.

just use the melee weps that don't increaseany other stats and theres no reason it wouldnt be fine

No. Equipping the mag will only increase your stats by whatever stats your mag has levels in. It can't decrease your stats.

Once you find a specific soul, please, PLEASE, do what I DIDN'T do, and look up what it makes your mag look like.

My 70 HuCast now runs around with Angel wings, because I though Femini was something else, and didn't bother to look.

Currently raising a new Mag.

you can feed a mag a new soul and it will overwrite the old one.

tho i personally think its awesome to have robots with flamboyant wings!!!
