For those who haven't heard the news, good ol' Mr. Rogers passed away overnight of complications from stomach cancer. When I was growing up I remember watching and enjoying his show. This was a man with so much kindness in his heart. He saw the world through the eyes of children and taught us things that would last a lifetime. He was 74. God speed to him.

I grew up watching him. His voice always seemed so calming. o_O
Not in a "creepy old uncle" sort of way..but it was just always soft.
..and you may all stop staring akwardly at me now. 0_o
In any case, yeah, I always enjoyed his show. Even doing the most mundane thing, like feeding his gold fish, seemed more interesting when he did it.
"Mr. Rogers has left the neighborhood."
*edit*
..wait a second..there's already a thread about this. X_X

Yes. I will miss him, as well. I have many fond memories of him and his show. He lived a good life, though. I agree. Godspeed!

Who remember's Bubbleland? That was the best opera on that show. The wind scared the heck out of me as a little kid.
