Does it take longer to level up in Ep.II? It certainly seems that to me. From temple alpha to Temple Beta, I gained ONE leve. But From Forest 1 to Forest 2 then the Dragon, I gained 4.

It's less saturated with monsters, so even though they give more EXP, you get far less for the same amount of walking.
