Unique Keyboard Commands

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any information on how to get special characters with the keyboard. I've seen some nice italics in some party names and I'm trying to figure out how to use them. Thanks.


P.S. I've done a bit of searching but I really don't know where to begin. This is my first experience with a japanese keyboard.

Well, it's pretty much like using Japanese keyboards in general. Basically, you type special characters by writing out whatever they're pronounced and then converting it (as if making kanji). Completely depends on what you want to type -- anything specific?
If you want italics, no clue.
