View Full Version : About PSOW's findings...

Now I may not be an expert at this game, however I have noticed that recently a lot of different items have been added to different section ID's. Now that wouldn't be so bad, except I don't remember ever seeing a Gibbles in the CCA... Also I don't remember Yellowboze being able to find the Lavis nor the real Agito until quite recently according to their database. Does anyone know if they get the information directly from Sega or if they take everyone's submissions and post them? I mean, I guess they could check it out before posting it, but my friend is criticizing me (heh, more comes offline nowadays) about if it's true or not. So I just need to clear this up because I originally trusted PSOW's item findings guide, however, now I'm not sure.

Anyone is allowed to submit a finding, and they're added at the admins discretion.

Also, as for Gibbles in CCA...CCA is a broad area term...Some consider it the whole start to finish, from the gate being closed to the islands to the gryphon, others consider it as just the pure CCA itself.

Don't know anything about yellowboze and Lavis Cannons/Agitos, but I'll be able to confirm any item finding once I level very char up some. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

The item findings on this site, although not 100% accurate, is fairly right on target. It doesn't have all the item findings that a section ID can find, but it's good enough, and you can use it as a guide/reference when you're out treasure hunting.

With regards to Gibbles, Gibbles is a mini-boss that can be found in the Mountain level. It's this huge, badass monster that can crush you if you're not careful. It has a beard and horns, looks about purpleish.

Gibbles is cool looking.

Kind of reminds me of that one goat boss in Zelda Majora's Mask, now that I think of it.

So it's not that it's inaccurate, but that it doesn't have all of the rares mentioned? So Yellowboze should actually find Lavis Cannon and whatnot now?

Every Section ID can find the Lavis Cannon.

And yes, Yellowboze (and Whitill) does get the Lavis Cannon off Gibbles in the Central Control Area. (that's what I call it, anyways)

we're adding findings as we get them, only if they have enough confirmations as a way of verification

and we're slowly adding the findings as i translate more things. and yes i have findings coming directly from sega that i will add.

Huh, finding direct from Sega? Now how would that work, being Sega wouldn't they be more of confermations over findings. After all why would they make anything up.

And if they are giving out info can they also confirm this Del Lily rumor... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I've never liked the whole gal da val islands/central control/jungle/mountain/seaside split thing in the item findings. I think it is too confusing as it is being split up, and is causing too many duplicated findings listings. Jungle, mountain and seaside should all be kept separate. Then central control should just be the portion after you open the big door (this would include gal gryphon). And gal da val islands should be done away with altogether. Just my opinion http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
