Is it worth hunting? Also I know it drops in snowfields, but what difficulty should i hunt it in?

I found mine after 3 runs in super hard, whereas my brother got his first time in hard.

I would guess that hard mode has a lower chance to drop, as its quicker to farm. I would say just do either hard or super hard depending on your level

EDIT: People love the unit for the arca plant boss, personally i've never used it tho

If you are going to take a serious run at farming off humilas you will want it. Slow protect isn't as necessary if you put sol's on your pallet.

I suggest farming it in SH. At least there, you have chance of getting other things worth finding.

And yes, it's worth it. Never being frozen from ice traps or any frozen causing hostiles = good thing.

i almost always have it equipped i would recommend super hard i find them all the time

Try to do a hard run. I found mine quickly on hard.

snowfeilds has some good stuff to hunt for there is a few handguns and alice olivia is pretty easy to find there too

Definitely hunt one. I've done a few runs in snowfields, both on Hard and SH and still no luck. Can't wait to finally get my hands on one, though.

I've done so many Snowfield runs and I've never found an Ice Protect or the H44. :<

yep yep it only drops in those boxes cant believe you havent found one how many runs did you say you have done? i find them all the time at one point i had like 11 in my joint box

I did dozens of hard snowfield runs, but never found an ice/protect until a SH run.

I've never counted but I have to be at least be around having 20 full runs done on SH.
No Usanny nest yet for me either. >8(

yeah i wanna ice protect now. after a friend and i tried to beat humilas on sh, we were a little underpowered and although i was able to dodge most and had a slow protect, it was always that lucky shot that did me in. we musta got him low cause those tile attacks were happening like crazy. oh well. good times.

ive found almost 2 dozen ice protects and only 2 h44 and one was crap

I found 3 but gave 2 away to other people because I don't think they stack lol. I did a good amount of runs, but I wasn't ever actually searching for the Ice Protect...haven't found an H44 yet (I think) but I did find 2 different guns with an H at the beginng, though I don't know which ones, but I'm a hunter and I don't use guns, so it's just junk to me lol.

i think the other gun in the snowfeilds is h10 and no they do not stack no point in stacking them i keep 3 one for each character and 3 in joint box just in case people need them when fon do runs together

Ice Protect is wonderful. Saves you from Humilias and hildegao when they freeze you.
