Looks ok but I have to stick with FF14. Mid to late year release after 13 comes out. I have stopped playing this game so a full server shut down just lets me move on. I was sad at first but reminded myself what is in store for me later on. Hope I get that beta email lol.

I've heard good things about the PC version of the game Mabinogi.
Will this one be for a console? (preferably Ps3! :D)

I need a new MMO RPG to play now...

Meh. I wasn't too excited about FF11, and I'm not excited about this either.
Sucks watching PSU get shut down, but there's nothing anyone can do at this point.
Although, MHTri seems like a better alternative, IMO.

If Sonicu Teem wants to be popular, they might do well to put the infamous Ethan emote in the next Sonic game.

Can you imagine the Blue Hedgehog in his white speed boots shuffling his feet, one front heel up-ball of the foot and wiping his black double dot(like an oval jellybean right?) of a nose, just like everyone's PSU hero, Ethan?

Don't forget Ethan, Sonic Team.

They were going to try for 360 and that fell through, not sure if its the anime-styled Mabinogi or the new one, Heroes.

It looks awesome just for the combat, and you know how most Korean MMO's are free to play so no need to ragequit if we aren't really paying for it.

I know my other post shows how much I love PSU but heres my answer. And like Heros this is still in development. Why is it all the good games are still coming?

Irrelevant. This timing could only mean Monster Hunter 3.

Theres really no supplement for PSU but all I can say is you have to kick the addiction of this game because it is very highly addictive.

Lol, MH3 is supposed to come out the day after PSU shuts down (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=20603).

@Alamar: I'll probably try out FFXIV too when it comes out. I've never play FF11
at all. Maybe it's time to try out something new. I gave up on PSU.

Beside that, I'm currently playing Dragon Age Oringin (PC) and waiting on
Star Ocean for ps3 to past the time by while PSU start dying. :panda:

I'll get my RPG fixes with Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean, and White Knight Chronicles when they decide to come out.

FFXI wasn't my thing, FFXIV won't be either.

Honestly, I wish NamcoBandai would bring back Tales of Eternia Online so I could at least try it.

.

For mentioning Tales of Vesperia, you are my new favourite random internet person

[I'm currently working on completely demoloshing that game... 1000/1000 gamerscore. I only have 1 title left to get and then to beat the game in under 15 hours]

That is all XD

Still not interested in a FF MMO. Back to playing Aion with me until I see something else that might catch my interest.

I never got into this genre because of how every single one was just another medieval fantasy theme. Phantasy star just has the futuristic genre that interests me so much. So I'm not sure if I'll be jumping to another game in the whole mmorpg realm.

Although diablo 3 looks really wicked.

I'm gonna try out FFXIV. I loved FFXI, though it was lacking in, how should I say... Being a game? Hopefully SE learned from their last project and decided on a more innovative, and less time consuming, answer for their fans this time around. But, whether I stay or not depends on if I'll be staying alone or not, and chances are, I will be.

I spent years of my life playing FFXI, so I'm naturally excited about XIV.

I'm really excited about FFXIV and SWTOR but I'm also keeping my mind open to the idea of playing The Secret World by Funcom, The Elder Scrolls: Online (or whatever Zeni-Max is working on) and of course Blizzard's new MMO. I'm also hoping Sega will announce the new console/PC PS game. I'm tired of handheld PS games.

It's worth noting that the combat and class system design of Final Fantasy XIV is completely different from that used in Final Fantasy XI.

For example, weapon skills and abilities are designed to be used a lot more often, and are on the same timer as your normal attack (which is no longer automatic), there's much less of a focus on "camping" and fighting singular enemies at a time, and it's being designed so that not only will all players be able to solo effectively, players will also be able to play in groups effectively with far less rigid requirements on party members.

That's not to say that things will be "easymode," but the exact response is that for general battles appropriate for your character... If you're not thinking, you will die.

For anyone vaguely interested, I suggest rummaging through some of the more prominent resources on information about the game. It's a little on the scant side, but they seem to have vocally learned from the mistakes present in Final Fantasy XI, without sacrificing the things they did right.

Oh, and there'a already beta signups.

ive never played a final fantasy game more than a few minutes when i was much younger. not sure if i want this especially since theres no futuristic guns and the trailers theyve shown arent very interesting to me. i need to see some real gameplay other than swatting creatures with a stick
