argh can't find internet multimode instructions link

I could have sworn I saw a link to instructions on how to get online in this forum, but now I can't find them.
Anybody have that link handy?

I have a japanese playstation network account setup, but for some reason I can't connect so I must be missing something else.

EDIT-After posting some screens about connecting to the playstation network, it gives message that has (sg4041) at the bottom which I assume is an error code?

figured it out.
found that little icon in the store where you go to enter the code.
