New Friend Code's List (Google Spreadsheet)

OK so this is the first time I do this, but the official sticky has become such a godawful mess this needed to be done. I am not sure if I have done it right, I have allowed edit access to anyone.

As for the timezone, you can use the letter codes (EST, CST, etc), or the GMT value (GMT minus 5:00 = EST), as long as its understandable.

Let me know if I have done something wrong with the sheet.

But in all honesty, it took me 30 seconds to create one. its a one page form.

I highly recommend it. also, your google accound will keep track of your youtube videos and search preferences. its not an EMAIL account, its just a settings account.

You need permission to access it, I sent a request to access it to you Pinkace. I guess you just have to accept it now, then me and anyone else who sends a request can access it.

Like the FC list on this site though, the list wouldn't help you find players who are currently active players.

I'd just stick with adding FCs of those who I know play.

So while it's a nice idea, it's not gonna be any different than the list on here, besides the timezone list option.

Yea, I like the list we already have.
It's easy, not confusing at all, and already made.

How can it be not confusing? how do you find someone there? more importantly, if you get a new FC, how do you alert your buddies? if you have 20 or so contacts, its a real pain.

I usually don't accept friend codes or add friend codes unless they PM me saying they've added me.
I keep all my PM's, so I just look through them and add. (which isn't usually hard to find, because it's labeled "PS0 Friend code" or something.
Plus, it's not everyday people change their friend code.

I find people I've added, easily.

If you DO happen to change your friend code, a sheet like this will come in handy.

I thought it was a good idea. Could someone just try and port their info on it? i just made sure no sign-in is required for edit.

The idea here came to me from an IGN poster, he knows how to use google docs better, I don't unfortunately.

p.s. Vol, I added you a while back.

it should be editable by everyone, just tested from another PC without being signed in.

I put the wrong friend code up at first.
(I was looking in the wrong area, and wrote down my friends friend code. lol)
