im sure you could find it on an auction site for alot less than $200
and try to get the plus version

You can definitely find it for less that $200. I got it for retail price.

$200 for PSO is way too much. You can get it for a lot less on ebay or other sites like that. Plus is a bit more, but nowhere near $200.

And take note that only the official servers are gone. If you've browsed around this site long enough, you probably have seen a couple questions asking of the private servers, but due to PSOW rules, we can't talk about them. All's we can say is Google is your friend, and that they exist. You may want to read the rules if you haven't already to see what we can/can't say about them.

I'd say play either PCv2 or BB, both of which can be played for free. You could get your friends to play them too, and there would be a lot more to do than just offline split screen mode.
