rare or not rare?

first i have to say im pretty new to phantasy star zero
( i played the other ones)

i got sometimes the feeling that i cant see if a item in my inventory is kind of rare or not.
like the caduceus got only 4 stars. since i cant see in my inventory if its a red box from where in hell do i know? coz at all most of the common weapons at shop got 4 or 5 stars.. i remeber from older pso games that the caduceus was kind of rare item..
i liked that in the older phantasy star games the rares stuff was written in yellow

so am i alone with that probleme or do i not understand sth?:???:

In PSZ the true rares would only sell for 10 meseta. Any other red boxes that drop, while aren't too common, sell for a few thousand meseta, in most cases. Not easily determined by looking through your trunk.

You can only get one Caduceus per cartridge, unless you reset it.
You get it from the vending machine. The codes are on the site so you can get it anytime once you have access to the sewers.
