I want to delete EVERYTHING, so I can send a cartridge to one of my friends.
I want him to be able to get all the achievements himself, and so it's like a brand new game.

:o
Doesn't that just reset your system?
I've done that before by accident in other games.
I'll definitely give it a try though!
Thanks!

Wow, had no idea about that. Good to know though.

Well, I'll definitely give it a try.
I did this to another game, but not because I wanted to delete it.
I don't think I've played that game since though.

I'll try it with PSZ.

I want my friend to be able to get everything himself, so if he had to delete my characters the titles and whatnot would go away.

If this works, my friend code will be changing, I'll update accordingly.

The giveaway will be under the other cartridge I have, because that's where the items are.
I'll let everyone getting a prize know that friend code when the time comes. :D

It's on a per-game basis. Some games that button combination resets the game, others it factory resets the save data.

I used this on my JP cart before giving it to a friend after I bought the US version. I had already used all the vending machine codes and farmed out the Compress PA from it.
Just be glad PSZ has a factory reset option. I recently bought a used copy of Knights in the Nightmare that doesn't have that option, the game tracks your total playtime over all saves, and now I'm stuck with an extra 15 hours recorded on my cart that I didn't actually play.

Odd, I thought that applied to all games.

Go on the menu, press all the buttons, click on the game, reset.

Then again, other games also have a "reset data" option.

Well, it's nice to know it should work then! :D
Thanks, this is what I was looking for, someone that tried.

Yea, I've seen most games with it. I was surprised this one doesn't.

@Volcompat321: I think you're confusing the button combination with L+R+START+SELECT, which is the usual in-game reset for most non-online games of Nintendo. But yeah, the button combo that Zeital gave is probably the data reset combo. I haven't really tried it myself but I've heard that's how it goes.

You know what, you're right. :p

I will try it though, after I figure out this stupid Nintendo Wifi thing. :p

Update:
Yup, EVERYTHING was deleted. :D
Thanks for your help, this can be closed now! :D
