PSN probelm?

I keep getting an error 8001050F and i cant even play my games offline anymore keeps saying "trophy infromation failed to load quitting game"?

Try updating the Ps3 yet?

Sometimes I get that when a new PS update comes out, and the PSN store wont tell me to update.
Might be some type of glitch, or your internet could have a connection problem.

Hopefully they fix the PSN. I've had tons of problems with just about every game I play. I always have to change my uPnP to play with certain friends, and its different for every game.

Seems to be working fine for me. >> I'm playing Demon's Souls right now. Or rather, my character is in the Nexus and I'm eating. And my PS3 is one of the older models as well.

In any case, it's not a universal problem, but it's still one that needs to be fixed immediately.

I feel the same way. After I logged out yesterday night, it hit me and I can't sign in either.

RIGHT after I get my Kris Blade to +5 and have mastered the use of Homing Soul Arrow, as well. And I haven't gotten to try my new God's Wrath yet! If this isn't cleared up by Friday, I may dieof course, death is only a new beginning. whether or not I can reach my bloodstain is another story.

I got hit by this ordeal last night too. I was playing White Knight Chronicles and then I quit to switch discs so I could help a friend get some trophies on Tom Clancy's HAWX, and the game kept getting stuck after the title screen saying something about "unable to load trophies, the game will now quit." So, I quit my game, tried syncing my trophies to PSN, and error 8001050F kept popping up. I get on Google and look it up, and then I find threads and articles all over the net saying how people can't access PSN, their system clocks are rolled back, they've lost trophy data, and they can't even play OFFLINE, even when signed out of PSN and with the ethernet cable unplugged. Later on, I tried putting WKC back in, and I got the same "unable to load trophies" error and couldn't play. Apparently the issue is only affecting the old "fat" PS3's and not the "slims," but my friend also has a "fat" model, and he said he wasn't having any trouble, although his is a 120 GB model (a newer one), and mine's an older 80 GB backwards-compatible model. So far, the only thing I can suggest is back up your save data (if you can, I used a FAT32 format USB drive, since the PS3 writes data in FAT32 format instead of NTFS, but some games like Bayonetta, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, or Street Fighter 4 can't be copied) and turn off your PS3 until they announce a proper fix. Sucks that this happened... not only was I close to platinuming two of my games, but I also paid for and reserved FF13 and God of War 3 a few days ago. =x

I hope it is...I don't have one, but my dad who lives in the town over has one, and I visit every other week or so...but he hasn't connected it to the internet yet (I'm not sure if he doesn't know how or just doesn't want to...) so I don't know if it is affected either...hopefully not?

Sweet, I was getting sooo bored.
Not sure why though, cause I don't play the Playstation that much where I couldn't live without it for a day.

So I've been checking Kotaku, NeoGaf, and Destructoid and it seems like no one is having the problem that I am now having.

I am no longer locked out of the internet however there are some glaring problems that makes my PS3 unplayable.

1. Framerate: Immedietly I noticed that my framerate was off. On the PS XMB menu everything looked like it was running at 20 FPS. Also, the Flower dynamic theme I had was not set and I had to set it back up myself.

2: Colors: The colors aren't as robust as they once where. With my flower theme, at night I use to be able to see the city in background distinctly during the night version and the sky had several beautiful gradients. Now it's all muck.

3: Videos: It's slightly choppy, only tried it with a video I downloaded off of the PSN. Haven't tried Blu ray or DVD yet.

4: Games are screwed: The aspect ratio is all wrong. I have a 32inch HD OLEVIA TV connected to my PS3 using an HDMI cable. My TV supports 720P and 1080i Naturally I play it on 720P. When I noticed the mentioned problems I tried messing around with the display settings by selecting Auto display. When I select 720P the image is squeezed and placed in the lower left part of my television as if it was some picture in picture television with everything else being black. Any game that I have tried to play goes into that same display state as well. I've only tried playing Heavy Rain and God of War 3 demo so far but I'm sure I'll get the same thing for every other game.

Last little tidbit, when I turned on my PS3 which was like an 2 hours ago, the date was still wrong it read 2/28 I updated it via internet, of course I did not start my PS3 up with the ethernet cable plugged in.
