What would be the best for Mag stats

That depend on your character class, level and stats. I have various mags with different stats for different occasion. But most of mags will have POW greater than other stats. So, there is no best mag stats. But for others they probably favor POWER over everything else unless their character is a Force or maybe a Ranger.

For a Force, the only thing needed is Mind. For a Ranger (especially a lower level Ranger) it's good to have a fairly high amount of Dex and around the same amount of Power. Once a Ranger gets to a higher level and has a high ATA, it's a good idea to switch to a mostly Power mag. For Hunters, high Power up until Ultimate, then try and max out ATA or at least get close. (Although it's kind of annoying to have to keep unequipping the mag when one's about to level as to not miss out on the added ATA.)

thats not true for all forces. most fomars have a power mag too so they can switch between techs and melee
