MAG question

Hello, I'm not really new to PSU, but there still is a lot that I don't understand about it. I usually try to keep up with event missions, so I tried playing MAG+ recently. My question is: what is so special about it? I haven't recieved much experience or meseta from it, so I can't see why I should play it rather than a normal mission.

There was something special about it the first time we got the event. It's old PSO levels.

The event version of MAG ended a few days ago, you were playing the non-event MAG' version which gives significantly less experience and drops.
