I have been playing PSO since 2002.
Never PSU though.

Given that you love PSO, you will welcome the way rares are handled in this game.

I never liked PSU anywhere near as much as I did for PSO.
PSP2 allows you to use any class with any weapons and race; and the way that the stats are balanced is like PSO -- kill fast, die fast -- but because of the dodging and blocking abilities it makes the game best played Solo.

PSP2 is the best Phantasy Star after PSO, =).

PSP2 > PSO

I never tried PSU.

PSO doesn't really have new content after ultimate mode which can be completed at 120 or less, made it seem like a grind fest at 120+.(GC)

PSP2 has much more stuff to do on your way to 200.

Which takes just over 100 hours to do.

I must be slow then because I still haven't beaten all the S-rank missions and I'm 156 hours into it.(lvl 117)
