Ok, so I've been using this site for a long time, and have been playing PSO for a long time before that, but I have a question that I have never solved the answer to, and I'm hoping I may be able to get some help from the real veterans of the game:
I'm playing offline, and have no real desire to play online, I have played online before, just did not really find a difference, and I prefer to use the gamecube controller.
I am using Plus, and I know the duping is gone, which is good, but I also know the photon drop/check room trick still exists to give you MORE than 10 of any given healing item. I'm just curious if having 11-99 of any given item you're only supposed to have 10 of will affect drop rates for rare items.
I ask this because I HAVE been playing with 99 and have encountered NO drops, but as soon as I go back to just having 10, they start dropping again. I'm guess I'm wondering if I just have extraordinarily bad luck, or if this is something coded into the game itself.
