Melee multiple targets

So I noticed my Bloody Gimlet has this feature which is quite usefull, but I don't understand why they took this feature away from doublesaber class weapons, I mean in PSO you could even hit enemies behind you!

wait, double sabers hit multiple enemies in pso?

I'm pretty sure you could to a certain extent, may not have been exactly simulatneous tho

Double Sabers in PSO could only hit one target at a time with each strike - however, because of the animation the weapons used, you could actually hit enemies to the sides or behind you... But you just couldn't hit multiple enemies at once, it's all single-target damage.
