i need help with ps3 chat

how do i enable text chat to be usable on my account, its not the master account but i can use the master account if i have to change it from there, wen i try to play white knight chronicles online it says i can't because chat is disabled please help

You can still play White Knight without a headset. I think it's preferable to play w/o one when playing with randoms personally.

Go to the little suit case that says settings and go to Accessory Settings. It should be in there. Just to be sure, what kind of headset are you using? The official one from Sony just needs to be plugged in once via USB and it's good to go. Other Bluetooth headsets require a bit of handling.

no, im not using a headset, i dont have one, its just that when i click geonet on a logic stone it tells me you can not access geonet because u can't chat, i think it means text xhat, because little big planet says i cant text chat in that and it says something about parental controls if i remember right and then i go there and there's nothing about chat, does the master account have to change it?

It's a safe bet that you can't change parental controls from an account that isn't tagged as a parent.
