Mag help please : )

Hi everyone! I'm new here and haven't really worked my way around yet.
Even though I have played PSO for years I've never raised my own Mags, as my step dad used to have 2 of each one, so I used to have one.
But i've decided to start from scratch again, and could do with your help.

I have a female hunter, which Mag would be best for her?
Def, atk, dex or mind?
How do I raise it?
And what will it turn out to be?

Depends which female Hunter you are (HUnewearl or HUcaseal).

For HUnewearl, I'd recommend having power highest, followed by Dex. You don't need Def, and whether you have Mind depends on how much you want to use Techs. For HUcaseal Power and Dex all the way.

As for which mag is best, it depends on which abilities you want. A lot of people like Sato because of it's Invincibility triggers (and because it looks like a cat/fox), but have a look through the Master Mag Gallery (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=1016) to see which you like.

Once you've decided which Mag you want, you raise it by feeding it items to raise stats. Generally Mates raise Power, Antidote/Antiparalysis raise Dex, Fluids raise Mind. This isn't the same for every Mag though, so look at HERE (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=1021) to see which items benefit which mags.

What your mag turns into depends on what character levels it to certain key levels (10, 35, 50). To see what you'll get, look at the Master Mag Gallery I linked earlier, find the mag you want and look at it's required formula. For example, if you wanted Ila, you would give your mag to either:
- A Viridia/Skyly/Purplenum/Redria or Yellowboze Hunter, and make sure that once it hits Lv50 the stats are Dex > Pow > Mind (so Dex as biggest stat, then Pow bigger than Mind).
or you could give it to a Greenill/Bluefull/Pinkal/Whitill/Oran Force and make sure the stats are Mind > Dex > Pow (Mind biggest, then Dex bigger than Pow).
